BACR Exercise Instructor Network
Our ‘New Look’ Network
In April 2008 we made some exciting changes to the Network, after a period of review. The name for the Network is now 'BACR Exercise Instructor Network', to reflect its multi-faceted role as many of you are now working across the phases of cardiac rehabilitation, and are dealing with a wide range of cardiovascular diseases. The other major change is that ALL currently qualified BACR Phase IV instructors (including those who have successfully revalidated) will automatically become members of the network.
What can I expect from the Network?
When you successfully pass or revalidate you will automatically join our network of qualified instructors and will receive a monthly electronic newsletter. There is no charge for this, but in order for you to fully register you will need to send your preferred email address to us at:- enquiries@bacrphaseiv.co.uk
Being a member of our new BACR Exercise Instructor Network will entitle you to attend our programme of workshops and events at a discounted rate.
The aims of the network are:
- To develop a yearly plan of workshops across the country
- To feed back to the Phase IV Training Steering Committee and Exercise Professionals Group (EPG) Committee any questions / comments from our members
- To contribute to information printed in the CR UK Newsletter
- To offer networking opportunities to our members and to contribute to the development of educational opportunities for members of the BACR Exercise Instructor Network
- To contribute to the development of a framework of competencies and skills for exercise professionals in cardiac rehabilitation and prevention
Who runs the Network?
