Hosting a course

Do you have interested instructors in your area who would like to attend the BACR Phase IV course?

Would you like to host the course and receive a free place worth £595?

The following are the requirements from a host venue

  • Name and contact number to be supplied to BACR Education office, of person at venue who would be responsible for the arrangements below and would be available to meet the tutor team on the first morning (access to room will be required from 8.15 am on the first morning).
  • Map/directions/accommodation details and details of parking arrangements to be provided to BACR Education office at least 6 weeks prior to commencement of the course.
  • Room/audiovisual equipment
    • A lecture room / theatre with comfortable seating for 24 students with  surfaces to lean on for note taking plus additional space / rooms to allow for workshops of varying group sizes (e.g. 4 groups of 6, 2 x 12, 3 x 8.)
    • On the assessment day we will need the large room above plus 3 smaller rooms (each with enough space for a desk and chairs for 2 tutors and one student.
    • Laptop/projector and screen for PowerPoint presentation, TV/video/DVD, flip chart paper and pens.
  • Refreshments
    • Coffee/tea/water/biscuits needs to be readily accessible within the 15-30 minute morning and afternoon breaks - something available in or close to the lecture room is ideal (please refer to timetable for times).
    • Coffee/tea/water/biscuits needs to be available for registration on the first morning.
